Hi, I’m Madison – the face (and hands!) behind Wax & Tell. I’ve been a professional waxer for over five years, and in that time, I’ve truly seen it all. My goal with every service is to leave you feeling smooth, confident, and completely at ease — because when you look good, you feel good. Waxing is such a personal experience, and that’s what I love most about it. I genuinely enjoy getting to know my clients — most of whom have been with me for years and now feel more like friends. I look forward to seeing you each month, catching up on life, sharing laughs, and sometimes even shedding a few tears, because life has its heavy moments too. The trust we build means so much to me, and I never take that connection for granted. I’m also a proud mom who finds her me-time in paddle boarding and escaping into a good fantasy book. I grew up in Placer County and now live in Woodland with my boyfriend, our kids, and our dog — but my heart is still here which is why I’ve chosen to keep working in the community I love. Wax & Tell was created from a place of passion — not just for waxing, but for helping women feel confident, cared for, and completely themselves, even in their most vulnerable moments. After all these years, my only priority is making sure you feel seen, safe, and beautiful. 💗

Cancellation Policy

As a solo studio, appointment times are reserved specially for each client, and these policies help keep the schedule fair, consistent, and running smoothly for everyone. I truly appreciate your understanding and respect for my time and small business. Cancellation & Rescheduling: Cancellations and reschedules must be made at least 12 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 12 hours of the appointment time are considered late cancellations. The first late cancellation will not incur a fee as a courtesy; however, if a client cancels within the 12-hour window twice in a row, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged based on the service reserved. Cancellations made within 2 hours of the appointment time will incur a 25% same-day cancellation fee, as this time cannot typically be re-filled. No-Show Policy: Failure to show up for a scheduled appointment without notice will result in a 50% no-show fee based on the service reserved. A deposit may be required to book future appointments after a no-show. Frequent Booking Changes: Frequent booking, canceling, or rescheduling — even when done in advance — may result in a security deposit requirement for future appointments, to ensure availability for clients who are ready to commit to their scheduled time. Late Arrival: Clients arriving more than 7 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and may be treated as a no-show depending on appointment length and schedule capacity.
